Relationships have always mattered to Logan Reed, a farmer from Holdrege, Nebraska. Within his rural community, he grew up attending a country school with students from kindergarten through eighth grade. As schools continue to consolidate, Logan had a desire for students to experience relationships and a country school feeling. Just 51 weeks after the first meeting, the school doors opened for its first year. As a farmer, Logan knows the importance of being a good steward of the land and resources and was offered the opportunity to lease the land next to the school, to bring education and agriculture together.
